Heru Inaugurates New Buildings for Kalideres and Kembangan RSUDs

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono inaugurated the new buildings of the Kalideres Regional General Hospital (RSUD) and Kembangan RSUD, Thursday (10/19).

In connection with the inauguration of the new building, the Kembangan and Kalideres RSUDs, which were previously Class D hospitals, have now been upgraded to Class C.

According to him, the Jakarta Provincial Government provided premium money with a total of Rp 2 trillion each year for BPJS to approximately three million residents. Hence, health workers were obliged to provide quality and humane health services as a form of dedication to improving the welfare of the people in Jakarta.

"People who need treatment or health care just have to come to the RSUDs, urban village and sub-district health centers. However, it is not referred to other places, as we see today that the Jakarta Government keeps improving health services, Kembangan and Kalideres RSUDs as examples of Class D hospitals becoming Class C," he expressed, at Kalideres RSUD, West Jakarta.

According to him, the Jakarta Government was committed to providing attention and making it easy for the community to access health services by providing quality and competent health facilities.

"So, there is no longer any reason for people going to the health center to the RSUD to find it difficult and feel slowed down. Of course, there is competition between public and private hospitals. That's why, health activists under the Health Agency (Dinkes) keeps providing innovation," he said.

Jakarta Dinkes Acting Head, Ani Ruspitawati explained one of the efforts undertaken to improve access to individual health services, especially at Advanced Referral Health Facilities, was to upgrade the class of RSUDa, through construction and addition of infrastructure.

"Among the hospitals that have been developed are Kalideres and Kembangan RSUDs which have been upgraded from Class D to C," she explained.

As for the information, Kalideres RSUD has a land area of 12,503 square meters including 3,721 square meters of green open space. Then the Kalideres RSUD has a capacity of 100 beds consisting of six ICU beds, 2 NICU, 2 PICU, 12 HCU, 8 Perina, 10 isolation beds, and 60 inpatient beds according to the Standard Inpatient Class (KRIS) criteria.

The treatment beds capacity will gradually be increased to 141 beds and equipped with sophisticated supporting health equipment and infrastructure according to standards for handling infectious diseases as a form of health resilience against emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.

Meanwhile, the Kembangan RSUD has also developed services, buildings and infrastructure according to Class C RSUD standards at the same location, namely Jalan Topaz Raya, Meruya Utara Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, West Jakarta administration with a land area of 3,752 square meters and the building area is 7,543 square meters.

At Kembangan Regional Hospital, inpatient capacity is also upgraded from 50 beds to 100 consisting of 6 ICU beds, 2 NICU, 2 PICU, 5 HCU, 8 Perina, 10 isolation beds, and 67 inpatient beds according to the criteria. Standard Inpatient Class (KRIS).

Both will develop superior services for Maternal Child Health (KIA), heart, stroke, and geriatrics.
